Two of my favorite videos on YouTube include one of Jenna Marbles' videos, How To Get Ready For A Date, and How to trick people into thinking you're good looking. I watch many of her YouTube videos, as they all make me laugh quite a bit.

  2. Laughter is good for your health in multiple ways. The first way it is good for your health is because it is a strong antidote to stress, pain, and conflict. Secondly, laughter brings your body back to balance. These things are essential for your health. A physical benefit from laughter would be that it relieves physical tension and causes people to relax and forget about all of the stress in their lives. A social benefit of laughter is to create a fun and happy environment around you. If someone has a good sense of humor and laughs a lot, it is easy to notice they live much happier and healthy lives. Another mental benefit of laughter is how it helps with all of your emotions. Being a positive and happy person will only help your mental health. Although it may not be noticeable in class, I personally have a big sense of humor and really enjoy making people laugh. Watching funny movies and being around my funny friends it what always gives me a good laugh. As stated before, I enjoy making people laugh. Being humorous and cracking jokes is something I do often and enjoy doing so. I use laughter to keep me happy.

  3. Laughter can be good for your health for numerous reasons. It helps you to cope with stresses in your life and lift your spirits. It also releases endorphins that literally make your body more relaxed and can alleviate pain. Another reason why laughter is good for your health is that it helps to strengthen your heart because of the increased blood flow and by the use of the blood vessels in your body. A physical benefit of laughter is that it causes your body to be more relaxed. A mental benefit is that it relieves stress that you may have in your life through laughter. A social benefit is that it brings people together in their relationships because they are sharing laughter which is brought about by being social. I use laughter in my life to make myself happier and more at ease. By laughing I bring up my whole mood and use it as a way to relax when I am feeling stressed about school.

  4. Laughter is good for your health because it helps release stress, relax muscles, boost immunity, and decrease your risk for cardiovascular diseases. When laughter is able to help you release stress, you are going to feel better all around. You will be mentally healthier because you are not stressing over everything you need to accomplish, and by eliminating stress and boosting immunity, you are less likely to get sick.

A few of the physical benefits of laughter are boosting immunity, lowering stress hormones, decreasing pain, relaxing your muscles, and preventing heart disease. Some of the mental benefits of laughter include adding joy to your life, easing anxiety and fear, relieving stress, and improving your mood. Finally, laughter has social benefits that include strengthening relationships, attracting others to us, enhancing teamwork, and helps promote group bonding. With all of these health benefits, it is no wonder that people say, “laughter is the best medicine.”

One way to bring more laughter into your life is by smiling. If you put a smile on your face people are going to be more willing to include you in activities. You will also feel better if you are smiling instead of frowning. Another way to bring more laughter is by counting your blessings and laughing at yourself. You need to be appreciative of everything that you have, even when you feel like you have nothing, there is always someone out there who has it worse. Finally, spend time with people who make you laugh. There is no easier way to add laughter into your life then spending time with people who make you laugh. If all someone does is make you sad and upset, he/she is definitely not the right person to be hanging out with, instead search for someone who can make you smile and laugh.

I bring laughter into my life by having friends who can make me laugh. I have the best friends in the world, and I know that if I am having a bad day they will always be there to cheer me up and make me smile. I also count my blessings every day. I know that I am extremely blessed to have had the opportunities that I have had. There are not many people that can say that they have been abroad three times in less than two years, and I am extremely grateful for the memories I have made on those trips.

  5. Laughter is very beneficial to your health. Laughter strengthens your immune system, lowers stress, improves your mood, and makes your heart healthier. Laughter is good for your body. Laughter boosts your immune system by reducing stress and increasing immune cell production and infection fighting antibodies. It also decreases pain and prevents heart disease. When you laugh it improves the function of your blood vessels and increasing blood flow which keeps your heart healthy. Laughter releases endorphins and temporarily relieves pain. Laughter is also good for your brain. It improves your mood and relieves stress. By relieving stress it increases your energy. Laughing is a great way to strengthen relationships. Laughing keeps the relationship resilient and fun. Laughter also helps heal resentments from people hurting you. Creating more laughter in your life is easy. Go to a comedy club or read the funny pages. Be more spontaneous and let go of defensiveness and the laughter will just role in. I use laughter in my life to lighten a situation. If something is awkward or too serious I usually make a joke out of it, or if someone is really sad I’ll say or do something funny to get them to laugh a little. I can’t imagine a life without laugher it would be very boring and depressing. “Babies eating lemons for the first time” makes me laugh because they are so cute and they make the funniest faces. I also watched the “twin talk” video it was funny because it actually sounds like they know what each other is saying.

  6. Laughter is the best form of medicine. It can strengthen your immune system, increase energy levels and even reduces pain. Emotionally, it also decreases stress levels. Physically, laughing can relax muscles, which reduces heart diseases. Socially, laughter can strengthen teamwork and relationships. To bring more laughter in your life, one must smile often and count their blessings. Furthermore, by surrounding yourself with positive and happy people as well as family is a great way to be happier. I use laughter every second. I may not be the most mature person, but I don’t take life too seriously. I love to be smiling and I love positivity. I don’t really surround myself with negative people.

  7. Laughter is very beneficial to health. It has plentiful physical, mental, and social benefits! Some physical benefits include a boost of immunity, lower stress hormones, and a decrease in pain. A few mental benefits of laughter are that it eases fear and anxiety, relieves stress, and improves mood. Some social benefits are that laughter strengthens relationships, attracts others to us, and helps defuse conflict. One of the most interesting things I read about laughter is that it relaxes the entire body for up to forty-five minutes! Spending time with others who are positive uplifting souls could enhance the laughter in our own lives. I use laughter in my life all of the time! Without laughter, my life would be miserable.

I also think Jenna Marbles puts up some pretty funny videos. However, I could not decide which one, so I suggest just looking at a bunch of them!

  8. Laughter positively affects your life in many ways! It has physical health, mental health, and social life benefits. It helps you relax and recharge, it also boosts your immune system. For physical health, laughter helps relax your muscles and decreases stress. For mental health it improves mood and reduces anxiety and fear. For social life it strengthens relationships and enhances teamwork. I think I could create more laughter in my life by being less shy and talking to more fun people. I need to "get out of my shell" and be more outgoing so I can have more fun. When I am around people I know I use laughter a lot. I am a fun and funny person to be around once I get over my shyness around people. I use laughter for almost everything in my life. I love to laugh! Of course I can be serious when I need to be but I do like to laugh.

  9. As discussed in this article, there are multiple health benefits to living life with more laughter. By improving moods, boosting energy, and creating closer bonds with those we share it with, laughter is a natural reaction that is much better for us than we may realize. Another of its positive effects is the power to ward off stress and pain. After recently discussing stress and how taking life too seriously wreaks havoc on the body, finding such a simple way to reverse the effects of stress is something of a relief. Laughter is generally easy to come by, and opening oneself to more opportunities for it results in relaxed muscles, diffusion of conflict, mood improvement, and stress relief.
Methods for incorporating more laughter into life may seem straightforward, but that just goes to show little effort it takes to make a big difference in attitude. Smiling, for example, is a way to bring on laughter when something funny has not even happened. Another way to lighten up a bit is to count your blessings. By calling to mind all the positive things in your life, you are inadvertently warding off negative thoughts that tend to weigh heavily on the mind. In my life, laughter is a frequent occurrence; it often happens without me even meaning to. Laughter is a natural reaction to various types of circumstances and works as a response when words don't quite cover what you want to say. Whether the situation be happy, funny, awkward, or even sad, laughing is a way to both express your own happiness and spread it to others.

  10. Laughter is good for your health in many different ways. Laughter mas a large magnitude of physical, emotional, and social benefits that follow laughter. Some of the physical effects that laughter can have on a person is that it can boost immunity, lower stress hormones, decrease pain, relax muscles, and can even prevent heart disease. Laughter also can have positive mental effects which can include the relief of stress, adding joy to one's life, easing anxiety and fear, and finally it can enhance resilience. An emotional effect of laughter may include stronger relationships, the attraction of others, better teamwork, reduction in conflict, and a promotion in group bonding.
Something that can create more laughter in my life would be to watch some pointless tv shows simply to laugh and not worry about what is happening around me. I use laughter in my life mostly when I am around my amazing group of friends. They always make me laugh and keep me feeling good, not only about myself, but about life in general.

  12. Laughter is good for your health because it is shown as a positive action rather than a negative action. Laughing can relive stress and anxiety that may occur in a person’s life.
Physical health can be benefited by laughter, such as decreases pain, and relaxes muscles.
Pain within your body is never comfortable, so watching a funny show or movie can decrease aching. Contracting your muscles can be unhealthy, so laughter can relax a person’s muscles. Mental health is also benefited through laughter, such as relieves stress, and improves one’s mood. From the chapter we are learning in class; stress can take a toll on a person’s mental health. Laughter easing stress will later improve one’s mood. There are also social benefits through laughter, such as attracts others and enhances teamwork. Being able to show a little humor to others can ease relationships, especially within a teamwork setting. I can create laughter within my life by hanging out with my group of friends. No matter what the setting, we always find something to laugh about. Another way to create laughter in my life is going to work at the daycare. The kids are so creative and unpredictable that I cannot help but to giggle. I use laughter in my life every day. I’m that girl who laughs at the most pointless parts of movies. Laughter definitely eases stress and puts me in a better mood.

  13. I really enjoyed reading this article. I learned a lot of information that I will hopefully be able to incorporate into my own life. Laghter is good for your health in many ways! Laughter binds people together, increases happiness and intimacy, triggers healthy physical changes in the body, strengthens the immune system, boosts energy, diminishes pain, and protects you from the damaging effects of stress.

Some physical benefits of laughter include boosting immunity, lowering stress hormones, decreasing pain, relaxing your muscles, and preventing heart disease. Some mental benefits of stress are adding joy and zest to life, easing anxiety and fear, relieving stress, improving mood, and inhancing resilience. Social benefits of laughtere includes strenghting relationships, attracting others to us, enhancing teamwork, helping defuse conflict, and promoting group bonding.

If a person wants more laughter in their life they can do many things to make this happen. A person can watch a funny movie or TV shor, read funny jokes or stories, or do something silly. A person can also surround themselves with funny family and friends. They could also play with a pet.

I personally use laughter in my life to feel better and get rid of some stress. Before reading this article, I did not know that laughter had this many positive benefits. I will now try to watch more funny movies and surround myself with funny people.

  14. By reading this article I hope I picked up some good tips for finals. Laughter is the best medicine. Laughter is good because it helps you relax by reducing stress up to 45 minutes. Helps keep your immune system up by reducing stress which increases antibodies which in turn help prevent diseases. And by laughing the blood flow is able to stay constant which helps prevent cardiovascular problems or heart issues. Laughter is also good because it is able to connect us with other people and keep us grounded.
There are mental, physical, and social benefits of laughter. A few of those are laughter being able to decrease pain, decrease diseases, and relaxing muscles for physical health. As mentioned above laughter is able to relax the body and provide the right support so the body is able to protect itself from disease or illness. Laughter is also able to decrease anxiety or stress, and add joy to your life for mental health. Laughter brings people together and then they are able to connect with each other through their laughs and share their stories. A good laugh is able to relax the body for at least 45 minutes so the body can focus. Next laughter can attract others to you, and promote group bonding for social health. This is done when others see that you are able to laugh at things or yourself and enjoy life instead of see the bad in things.
I could create more laughter in my life by being able to laugh while I am doing homework so my body is relaxed for a good 45 minutes. I do feel that I am a very bubbly person and very clumsy so I do end up laughing at myself very often. But to create more laughter in my life I could continuing to smile at people because a smile is just as contagious as a laugh. I could be thankful for things more often than just around the holidays. I could start hanging out with people who are more enjoyable and playful people. That way we could have fun together and continue to share our laughs. And I could ask people what made them laugh this week instead of saying, how are you doing.
I use laughter in my life to help others as well as myself feel better. I love to laugh and laughing at myself tripping literally over nothing just makes my day. I am definitely that girl who busts out in class laughing from something that happened the night before. I use laughter to help calm my nerves and as they say “breaking the ice.” I love meeting new people and sometimes there are those awkward pauses so being my silly self always gets a crack out.

  15. I truly believe that laughter is the best medicine and this articles outlines all the positive things can come from laughing. Laughter is good for your physical, mental health, and social health in many ways. Laughing relieves stress and tension from your body which allows your body to be relaxed up to 45min after laughing. This can help with feeling better physically by helping with back pain and mentally by reducing stress. Laughter increases the function of blood vessels and blood flow which can create a healthier heart. Endorphins are released when you laugh. Endorphins are the feel good hormone of your body. This can cause and over all good feeling of the body and help reduce pain. Laughter brings people together. Because of this, laughter is good for your social health. Laughing together can help with conflict in relationships. It can also help with teamwork and group bonding. Laughing can also help you personally in a group atmosphere. Laughing does this by reducing inhibitions, defensiveness, and helps you be more spontaneous. All of these things can allow you to get a better experience out of group work and be a happier person. A few other health benefits are boots immunity, add joy to life, improve moods, and enhance resilience. As you can see, laughing is a very good medicine.
With all these good health benefits from laughing, you need to know how to increase laughing in your life. One easy thing to do is smile. Smiling is what comes before laughing. If you practice smiling at the simplest of thing you are going to add laughter into your life. Another thing you can do to add laughter into your life is spend some time each week writing down what your blessings are. Just remembering all the positive aspects in your life will allow it to be that much easier to laugh. When you hear laughing moving towards it will increase the chances of you laughing. So next time you hear a group of people laughing go over and ask what is so funny. Being around people who laugh a lot will greatly increases the chances of you laughing as well. A few other ideas to increase the amount you laugh is by going to laughing yoga, watch a funny movie, go to a comedy club, and play with a pet. Adding laughter into your life can be very easy and extremely beneficial.
You can use laughter to come over challenges and obstacles in your life. For example during finials college students can get very stressed out which could become a obstacle for getting a good grade. If you incorporate laughing into your life during this time, such as taking a break from studying and watching a funny movie or spending time with funny friends, can help you reduce the stress and achieve a better grade. Another thing that laughter could help you overcome is your fears. One of my biggest fears is public speaking. I found though that when I try to smile throughout my whole presentation it helps to do a better job. I also try to put myself in a good mood before I have to go present, and usually that involves laughing at something to cheer me up. I found this you tube video one time when I was stressing out about school and needed a good laugh. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNErkO8MF3I

  16. I find laughter to actually be quite contagious along with a smile. Sometimes all it takes to brighten someone’s day is a smile or a simple hello. Laughter takes that smile above and beyond and cannot only make someone else’s day but can also make yours. According to the article, laughter can be good for your physical, mental, and social health.

First, laughter is good for you physically. Have you ever laughed so hard that your abs hurt? Laughing works your abdominal muscles, relieves stress, relaxes your body, increases immune function, and increases blood flow.

Second, laughter helps your emotional state. When you are laughing, it is very hard to be upset about something. If you are a little less hard on yourself and take things a little less seriously, it shifts your perspective and helps you to laugh.

Third, laughter can make you more social. Although laughing alone is sometimes necessary whether you are watching your favorite TV show or laughing at something silly you did, laughing alone is not as much fun as laughing with others. Sometimes it is necessary to just let go and be playful. Asking people about their most embarrassing stories or the funniest thing that happened to them is a great way to bring laughter into your life.

I am a pretty easy-going person. Although I am secretly quite hard on myself, I sometimes find it hard to take myself too seriously and like to joke around about my “problems” instead of dwelling on them. If I am having a bad day, the best way for me to get over it is to laugh about it. Sometimes you can’t do anything but laugh. I have always liked the saying “work hard, play hard.” Playing a game or simply being goofy helps to lighten the mood or laugh a little. You can almost guarantee that I will have a smile on my face when you see me, which is a great step towards laughter.

The following are a couple videos that always make me laugh:

  17. Being able to laugh every day is a powerful and simple way to improve your life. Laughing has numerous physical, medical, and social benefits. One of my favorite physical benefits is that laughter helps reduce stress. Sometimes when I am extremely stressed, laughter just takes over. Everything is so funny because if I did not laugh, I would probably cry. I think it is my body’s defense mechanism. It can tell when I am pushing myself too hard, and it forces me to look at the lighter and brighter side of life. This is also a mental benefit. One of the most stressful times in my life is before exams. I can get so caught up in studying. Taking a break and having a time for fun and laughter boosts my mood, so when I do hit the books again, I have a renewed sense of energy. The social benefits from laughing are also amazing. Laughter and humor can diffuse conflicts and bring individuals closer.
To bring more laughter in your life, I think you really just need to calm down. Whatever is stressful or bringing down, is not usually as bad as we make it out to be. Also, surrounding yourself with friends and doing things you enjoy are great. I like to watch comedians because their job is to make you laugh, and they do a good job. I use laughter in my life to lighten my mood and to boost the moods of my friends.

  18. Laughter is a very important aspect of life. Laughter can help with physical and mental aspects. It can boost energy, diminish pain, and help with stress. The physical aspects of laughter include boosting energy, lowering stress hormones, decreasing pain, relaxing muscles, and preventing heart disease. These are all important promoting factors. I really like the stress relieving feature; it takes my mind of stressful things and puts me in a better mood. Mental health aspects consist of easing anxiety, adding joy to life, relieving stress, enhancing resilience, and improving mood. Again the stress reliever is important but I also like the easing of anxiety. Making people feel better and taking their mind off of whatever is making them feel anxious. Social benefits include strengthens relationships, Attracts others to us, Enhances teamwork, Helps defuse conflict, and Promotes group bonding. People are always attracted to others who can make them laugh and who they can laugh with. Teams that get along well and can laugh together are also probably harder workers and better teams. I don’t think I can have any more laughter in my life. I am constantly laughing and having fun with friends and family. I use laughter as a way to make myself feel better. I laugh at myself all the time and I love making others laugh.

  19. Laughter is good for your health for several reasons that this article lists. The main reasons, I feel, are the relaxation of the body as laughter occurs and the release of several endorphins, triggering an emotional response in the brain.

The article outlines the benefits of laughter for mental, physical, and social benefits. These include: boosts to the immune system, prevention of heart disease, relieves stress, improves mood, strengthens relationships, and attracts others to us.

Laughter can be created by seeking more situations that cause laughter. For instance, watching a funny video on youtube, or a funny movie. One can also seek out laughter in social settings, such as going towards a group that is laughing in order to join in with the happiness.

I use laughter in order to break up the monotony of my days, usually I am busy with work or homework of some kind, so I welcome the opportunity to go out with others and have a good time, or watch youtube videos from channels I enjoy or together with friends.

The first video linked is from a channel I very much enjoy, they have an ongoing series called “Two Best Friends Play” they’re just videos of these two guys goofing around and making fun of themselves and video games they play. The second is of a video one of my friends showed me, it’s very similar to an abridged series, however just a bit different. It’s “Pokemon F/U Version” and although the humor is very much aimed at college age kids, it does entertain me.

  20. Laughter has many health benefits, including, mental, physical, and social benefits. A few that this article described were that laughter is an immune booster, relieves stress, improves mood, brings others to us and promotes group bonding. Some of the physical health benefits are laughter dissolves emotional stress, laughter helps you relax and recharge, also, humor can shift perspective. The mental health benefits include, relieving stress, improving mood, eases anxiety and fear and enhances resilience. All of these also go hand in hand with the way with the physical health benefits. Then the social benefits are it strengthens relationships, attracts us to each other, enhances teamwork, and helps defuse conflict.
I have tons of laughter in my life. Though, there are always ways to create more laughter in life. Such as, watching a funny movie or television show, hang out with people you find who are funny, play with a pet, or go to a comedy club. Something new that the site talked about, that I would love to do, was a “laughter yoga” class, I feel like this would be so fun and a new way to add laughter in anyone’s life. I use laughter in all parts of my life. When I am hanging out with my friends, especially when I go to my sorority house and we all just hang out. There is always tons of laughter there. Also, just whenever I feel stressed, watching a funny movie is always fun.
Here are two video’s that can always make me laugh!

  21. Laughter is good for your health because it reduces stress by relaxing your body by releasing endorphins. By relieving stress, laughter can open blood vessels relieving strain on your heart. Additionally, laughter can also increase immunity and improve your mood.

Physical benefits of laughter include, as stated previously, increased blood flow and decreased heart strain, which reduces heart disease. It also relaxes muscles and increases immunity function. Mental benefits of laughter include relieving stress and improving your mood. Laughing makes you feel good; you can forget about your troubles for the time being. Finally, social benefits of laughter are that it can strengthen your relationships with others –people who can laugh with one another tend to get along better, and laughing often causes others to gravitate to you.
One way to bring more laughter into your life is to chance your attitude. I believe that if you start a day with a positive attitude, you will be more apt to see the good in things—the humor in a negative situation. Other ways to bring laughter are to take moments to smile often (I think this will come naturally with a positive attitude) and join in when others are having a good time laughing with one another. Sometimes it can be helpful to find your inner child. Some of the funniest moments in my life happen when I and friends are being goofy and immature. If it’s a situation where maturity is not important, go ahead and be dorks. You can never be “too cool” to do something.

  22. Laughter is good for your health in a number of different ways. It allows you to enjoy the finer things in life with a contagious smile on your face. It helps with your physical, mental, and social wellbeing. Laughter helps with your physical state by boosting immunity, prevents heart disease, and lowers stress hormones. Laughter assists with mental health by adding joy and zest to your life, relieves stress, and improves mood. The social benefits of laughter can help to strengthen relationships, enhance teamwork, and promotes group bonding.
In order to bring more laughter into your life, you can start off by smiling, counting your blessings, moving toward laughter, spending time having fun, and bringing humor to every occasion whenever possible. Laughter is the best medicine and it’s free as well!
I have been told that I am a very bubble person with a contagious smile. I am honestly always laughing at something, whether that is laughing at a lame joke, trying to tell a story that nobody else understands, or just making fun of myself, I can almost find laughter in every aspect of life. I try not to take life to seriously and just roll with the punches. While sometimes that may be harder said than done, I really enjoy surrounding myself with those who make me laugh and who enjoy my sense of humor.

  23. Laughter is good for your health because it relaxes the whole body, boosts the immune system, triggers the release of endorphins, and protects the heart. Laughter has many benefits, including physical, mental, and social health benefits. Some physical health benefits are that it decreases pain, prevents heart disease, and lowers stress hormones. A few mental health benefits include adding joy and zest to life, improves mood, enhances resilience, and eases anxiety and fear. The social benefits are strengthening relationships, attracting others to us, enhancing teamwork, defusing conflicts, and promoting group bonding. A person can add more laughter into their life in countless number of ways. Some of those ways include watching funny movies or TV shows, reading the funny pages, sharing a good joke or funny story, playing with a pet, and doing something silly. There are many other possibilities and they only grow the more you laugh because when you laugh you become more spontaneous, let go of defensiveness, release inhibitions and express your true feelings. This lets us get to know other people and even ourselves better. I use laughter in my life by hanging out with my friends and being silly. We also share funny stories and someone always does or says something outrageous. When we go on random endeavors, laughter always comes from it. When I’m home, I cuddle with my puppy and pet her and that also releases much stress.

  24. Laughter is good for your health in many different ways; it benefits your physical and mental health as well as social benefits. It benefits these areas in ways such as boosting immunity, decreasing pain, relieving stress, strengthening relationships and diffusing conflict.

Creating more laughter in your life can be simple. Smile more, make a list of all the wonderful things in your life, hang out with people who make you laugh and tell funny jokes or stories. Making these small changes can make you a happier person.

I personally use laughter in every part of my life. Growing up my family always tried to find humor in any situation, in a way I think sometimes this brought us closer. In other relationships in my life such as with my friends or roommates, we also use laughter as something we can bond over. Most of the people I spend time with are very light hearted, silly people and we find each other very humorous.

  25. Laughter is the best medicine to bring your body and mind back to reality from a problematic situation. There are a number of positive health benefits, both emotionally and physically, that come from laughter. Mentally, laughter can ease an anxious situation, improve a person’s mood or relieve some tension or stress that a person is feeling at the time being. Laughter can help in a lot of physical ways also. Laughter releases endorphins, increases blood flow, relaxes muscles and can relieve pain.
Laughter can also help in social situations. Humor can build stronger relationships as well as making the relationship more exciting to the individuals. Laughter brings people together through difficult times and builds good teamwork throughout a group.
Going to a funny movie or being around positive people, I think, would be a good way to incorporate more laughter into my life. Also, if people did not make such a small problem into a dramatic one that is only going to stress them out more, there would be a lot more laughter in a person’s life. I think the key is to not let anyone bring you down. In my life, the children at the daycare I am employed at are good at incorporating laughter into my life.

  26. Laughter is good for your health on more than one level. There are positive physical, mental, and social aspects of laughter. According to the article, laughter benefits physical health by strengthening the immune system, releasing endorphins, relaxing muscles, and preventing heart disease. The mental benefits of laughter are lower stress levels, lower levels of anxiety, improved mood, and increase in energy. The social aspects of laughter are bonding, strengthened relationships, reduced tension and conflicts, and just an overall enhanced mood among peers.
One can create more laughter in there life simply by not taking things too seriously and learning to laugh at oneself. Other ways to laugh more would be reading the comic strips in the paper, looking up jokes, watching funny movies or shows, doing something child-like with your friends, or simply surrounding yourself with humorous people.
I use laughter almost every day. I find the simplest things funny. But if I need a pick me up, my friends can usually lift my spirits through corny jokes or embarrassing stories. Also, taking five minutes to watch a funny video on Youtube can brighten my day. Usually laughing babies do the trick.

  27. Laughter is good for your health because it relaxes the body, boosts your immune system, triggers endorphins, and it can even promote a healthy heart.

There are many physical health benefits of laughter. It can boost your immune system by producing more virus fighting anti-bodies, relax your muscles by triggering endorphins (the body’s natural feel good chemicals), and it can also promote a healthy heart by increasing blood flow and improving blood vessels. Laughter also has many mental health benefits. It can improve your mood because you can’t be angry when you are laughing. It also eases anxiety and fear because it helps you see situations in a more realistic and less threatening point of view. Laughter also has social benefits. It helps you be more spontaneous by helping you forget about your troubles. It helps you express your true feelings because when you laugh with someone it helps you connect better with that person. Laughter also helps you stop being defensive because it helps you forget about criticism, judgment, or doubt.

You can create more laughter in your life by going to the movies to see a comedy film, going to a comedy club, sharing a funny story, playing with a pet, or just by hanging around funny that have a sense of humor.

I use laughter in my life by hanging around people that have a sense of humor. I don’t like to be around people that are serious all the time because I am a humorous person my self and I like to laugh. Also, whenever I want a laugh, I go to vine and watch a bunch of the comedy videos.

  28. Laughter is good for your health because it helps in coping with stress and other areas such as boosting your immune system, enhances resilience, and helps protects your heart. A physical benefit of laughter is that it lowers stress hormones, a mental benefit is that it helps improve a person's mood, and a social benefit is that it attracts others to us. A lot of these benefits are also found in people who are extroverts so it is quite amazing to see there's a correlation in benefits between extrovertism and laughter. I can create more laughter in my life is by continually spending more times with friends and doing things that make me laugh. A lot of times I watch random youtube videos with my friends because they are just funny and we have a good time together whenever we are bored and it always uplifts our mood. I'm not exactly sure how I use laughter but I've been told I laugh at the most random things and things that are not really funny at all but once I get started with my laugh it's usually tough for me to stop. Laughter usually helps me relax and helps me copes with stress.

  29. When you get a good laugh in with friends it makes your day that much better! I love to laugh and have a good time. Laughing is good for your health in so many ways! Laughing boosts you immunity, lowers stress hormones, relaxes your muscles, improves your mood, strengthens relationships, and promotes group boding. I also think that if someone who does not know you sees you laughing and having a good time, they are more likely to want to get to you know, which can be a huge social benefit for not only you but others too.

I create laugher in my life but just having a good time and not taking everything serious. Life is meant to be fun so why try to go through it and worry about every little thing, which would just ruin your day. I also like to be fun, goofy, and joke around with all my roommates when I can be. I will also create laugher in in my life by taking to my brother. It doesn't matter what my brother says he always has me laughing! Sometimes I swear he is the funniest person I know, there is never a dull moment when I see him. I use laughter to my advantage sometimes if I don’t like what someone says I can play it off and laugh about it and make them feel weird because when they are saying something to bother you and then they see that it doesn't, it makes them feel weird, and that is funny.

  30. Laughter is always the best medicine, and this article completely proves that. It says that laughter can boost your immune system, relax your body, release endorphins, and protect the heart; it just really helps to rid of anxiety and keep your body healthy. Throughout the article, there were many reasons stated as to why laughter is good for you, not only for your health, but for other aspects of your life as well. Some of the mental benefits are eases anxiety and fear, relieves stress, and improves mood, and some of the social benefits are strengthen relationships, attract others to us, enhances teamwork, and helps diffuse conflict.
I'm sure there are so many ways for me to create more laughter in my life than just those that were stated in the article. I think a great way to create more laughter to be around those people that you like, because whether they try or not, something funny usually happens around them. Another good way to create more is too watch more humorous shows on TV, or even just sit on the humor section of Pinterest for an hour. I personally use laughter to take a break from the stress of everyday life and as a reminder to not take everything so seriously.
This first video is of a little boy. His parents are trying to make him say different words; one of the words is peanut butter and he just can't say it quite right. The second video is of a girl who just got her wisdom teeth taken out and is telling a funny story. At the end of the video, she breaks out in a rap!

  31. Although some people not know about the affects of laughter, laughing can actually be good for your health in several ways. Laughing can relax your body and relieve stress and tension. If you have a good laugh, then your muscles can be relaxed for up to 45 minutes after you’ve stopped laughing. It can also boost your immune system and protect you from heart disease by improving the function of blood cells and decreasing stress hormones and increasing immune cells. Laughter also releases endorphins and can give a sense of well-being or can even relieve pain temporarily.

Those are some physical health benefits, but there are mental and social benefits as well. Mentally, laughing can make someone’s mood better and it can add joy and zest into one’s life as well. Some social benefits of laughter are it helps groups bond, strengthen relationships and can help defuse conflict. I know with my friends, when someone is having a bad day and they get a little sassy, we just laugh it off and not only do they feel better, but we feel better too. Laughing really lightens the mood and group projects can be really serious at times. If someone starts telling jokes and making everyone in the group laugh, then it relieves a lot of tension and makes us stronger as a group.

I’m one of those people that laugh really easily and even if I make a joke that I only think is funny, I still laugh like everyone is laughing with me and that actually sends a chain reaction of laughter. I could be more spontaneous with activities though. Sometimes people are like lets do this, lets do that, but I don’t always feel like doing something and I stay home. If I actually went out and did those new activities, I bet I would have more fun and laugh even more. I’m that person in a crowd that if it’s awkward and no one is talking, I always have to say something a make a joke. I can’t stand it when it’s silent. Plus, comedies are my favorite type of movies and if you really want to get me laughing, put in an Adam Sandler movie and we’ll be good!

  32. I have always heard that laughter is the best medicine, and this article proves that. It talks about all of the health benefits it gives you not only immediately but as a preventative measure. It has been proven to help boost your immune system as well as release endorphins into the body. The article gives many examples of this including helping reduce stress levels and overall improve your mood if you are feeling down. I personally think we should all improve the amout of laughter in our life, to do think we should spend more time with our friends because they are the ones that know us best and can relate to our sense of humor. We can also spend more time paying attention to comedy focused aspects of our life like social media and TV broadcasting.
The first video I chose is a funny cover of Taylor swifts song never getting back together. It just spins the song into a comedic version of the popular song.

  33. Laughter is a good thing for your health in many ways. Laughter can help relieve stress, tension, and overall it can elevate your mood on a daily basis. Some of the physical benefits include boosting your immune system, releasing endorphins, and relaxing the whole body. Some of the benefits laughter provides mental health are dissolving negative emotions, increasing energy levels, and helping to shift perspectives. Laughter provides social benefits such as allowing others to have positive feelings and helping to establish an emotion connection.
Honestly there are an infinite number of ways to create more laughter in your life. Personally I believe the easiest way to do it is to stop taking everything in life so seriously. I cannot remember a day in my life where I have not laughed at least once during the course of a day. It doesn’t matter if I am having the worst day of my life I can still find something to laugh about. Even the day I was diagnosed with oral cancer and the following months of surgeries and recovery I still remember laughing daily with my family, friends, and even the occasional random nurse. I use laughter everyday in my life in a multitude of ways. I use laughter to help brighten someone’s day, relieve tension in a stressful situation, and I even use laughter when I’m flirting with a girl. Not only do I love to laugh, I also love making other people laugh.

  35. Laughter is one of the easiest things you can do for your health. The physical benefits to laughter include boosting the immune system by producing more anti-bodies and decreasing stress hormones, increasing blood flow which promotes a healthy heart, and triggers the release of endorphins which helps relax muscles. Laughter also has many mental health benefits. Laughter helps improve your mood because it is difficult to be anxious or angry while you are laughing. It also eases anxiety and fear because it helps you see situations in a more realistic and less threatening point of view. Laughter also has social benefits. Laughter helps you express your true feelings because when you laugh with someone, you're defenses come down allowing a temporary bond to form. Laughter also allows you to be spontaneous and get out of your head, away from your troubles, and interacting with other people.

The easiest way to create more laughter in your life is to interact with other people. I know when I'm around my friends, we're usually laughing within the first five minutes. Smiling and generally just taking life a little less seriously helps a lot. Just because life is really stressful, doesn't mean you can't take two minutes look at a funny thing on Youtube or talk to someone about something stupid a celebrity.

I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor. I try not too take things too seriously, but every now and then I need my friends to remind me to chill out. I also look at Youtube videos to relax. Here's a couple of my favorites:

  36. This article is a description of the benefits that laughter can have physically, mentally, and socially. Laughter is such a simple, natural thing, it is amazing how many health benefits it can bring to you. It brings people together and increases your happiness and intimacy. Laughter is good for a personal physically because it boosts your immune system, lowers stress hormones, releases your feel good endorphins, relaxes your muscles, and helps prevent heart disease. Laughter is good for your mental health because it makes you more spontaneous, lowers your defensiveness, releases you from your inhibitions, eases anxiety, relieves stress, and enhances your resilience. Laughter benefits you socially because it strengthens relationships, attracts others to you, enhances teamwork, and helps diffuse conflict.

When you are in bad mood or taking things to serious, laughter and even smiling can help you start to lighten up. It is helpful to count your blessings, spend time with fun people, laugh at yourself, and always keep things in perspective. I feel I am starting to laugh less and less as I get older. Now that I am a senior preparing to enter the real world, it is hard to let go and not be so serious. I look at myself compared to my young cousins (10, 7, and 5) and they laugh 24 hours a day. It amazes me. I wish I could be that carefree again. Now days I primarily laugh with friends, some movies, and I guess when I’m drunk. I need to laugh and smile more, be more happy go lucky. I like to laugh, which is a given, and I wish I did it more often, especially with these health benefits. They all make sense but I never realized laughs power

  37. There are many ways that laughter is good for your health, for instance: it helps, “strengthen your immune system, boost your energy, diminish pain, and protect you from the damaging effects of stress” and it does all of this at no cost to you. Physically, laughter has been shown to strengthen immune system reactions, help relax the body, and diminish the effects of pain. Mentally, laughter helps an individual cope with stress and increases happiness. Social laughter helps create bonds between individuals, attracts us to others, and is a pleasant response in any language. The easiest way to laugh more is to have a more optimistic outlook on life. Smile more, count your blessings, and spend time with people you enjoy being around. I use laughter in a lot of situations in my life; I’ve used it to taunt others, lessen the impact of a bad joke, and (usually) to show my amusement. Personally, I have a problem with laughing too much. I tend to chuckle after things that may not even be funny, because why not. All a laugh will do is make things better (in most situations).

  38. Laughter is so much fun! Laughing really just makes your day better and others around you. When you see someone laugh, doesn’t it just want to make you smile? It does for me! Laughing is also so good for you. Laughter relaxes you and makes you feel good. When laughing to hard or for a long period of time, your stomach starts to hurt, it’s a great feeling!

Laughter is good for you physically, mentally, and socially. Physically, laughter helps relax you, relieves pain, and decreases stress hormones. Laughing is also good for you mentally. It makes you happy, lessens your anxiety, and reduces your stress. I find that laughing is a great source of stress relief and it truly helps me! Laughing also helps you socially. When you see other people laughing or smiling, it gives you encouragement to go and talk to them, and vice versa. Laughing also helps builds up relationships and the bond between you and your friends. Altogether, laughing is great for your health.

I can create more laughter in my life by surrounding myself with those you make me happy and laugh. One person in particular is my wonderful friend Emily. She is such a fun and loving person that you can’t help but smile when you are around her! Other things I can do to bring laughter into my life are to smile more and be happy for what I have. I am so thankful for everything I have in my life and I just need to remember that.

I use laughter for many, many reasons. However, these past few weeks, I have been using laughter mainly as a stress relieve. There are some situations going on in my life that are hard to handle and laughing makes it easier.

  39. The saying that laughter is the best medicine is a fact. This article explains how laughter has many physical, social, and mental health benefits. Some of the physical benefits of laughter include helping to boost your immunity and illness, relaxing your muscles, and improving the blood flow and function of blood vessels, which in return helps to protect the heart and fight off cardiovascular problems as well as heart attacks. Some of the emotional benefits of laughter include helping to relieve stress and giving you an overall happy feeling, easing fear and anxiety, and overall improving your mood so that you feel more joyous. Laughter can have social benefits such as helping to strengthen relationships with people that you know, helping to ease any conflict that you may be having with another person, and promoting group bonding and teamwork. It is possible to create more laughter in your life by smiling, which is actually contagious and might actually help to improve somebody else’s day. You can create more laughter by spending time with people that are fun and that you enjoy being around, since these people can find the humor in everyday events and are more than likely to cause you to laugh too. This is how I usually find laughter in my everyday life. I’m surrounded by my boyfriend, family, and friends that constantly make me laugh, and in return help to relieve the stress of everyday life. 40. Laughter is good for a person’s health in many ways. It not only can help boost a person’s immunity to help they stay healthier overall but it can also lower stress hormones which can create a healthier heart. There are also many mental health benefits such as improves mood, adds enjoyment to a person’s life, and relieves his or her stress. Socially laughing can create new relationships through communication, strengthen current relationships, and helps lessen or completely remove conflict.
I often create more laughter in my life by talking to my residents. They are new to college and often their experiences are quite humorous. I also enjoy watching funny YouTube videos when I get the chance. All these things work to add humor to my life but the absolute best thing for me to do is hang out with some of my best friends. One of the things I value most in my relationships with them is how much they make me laugh.
I use laughter in many ways including: making connections, relieving stress, and increasing my productivity. Laughter helps in making connections because I often start conversations based off of something funny someone said. It also helps strengthen connections that I have already made. Laughter also helps me relieve stress by allowing me a moment to step away from what I am doing. It increases endorphins making me happier and thereby more relaxed. Finally because I use laughter to relieve stress it makes me more productive. When I am relaxed and in the mood instead of stressed and caught in my head I can accomplish a lot more than I could otherwise.

I work at a daycare center and I nanny for a family here in Vermillion so I am always surrounded by children. Most of the time I really enjoy the time I get to spend with them because they always have such an innocent way of thinking and they can laugh at things no one else would think was funny. This is a great way for me to add humor into my life and all I have to do is make a funny face, or tickle them and both me and the child will be cracking up.

I am big on bringing laughter into my conversations. One of my favorite things to do is make people laugh, whether it is in person or even over the phone. I do not even have to know the person to feel comfortable enough to joke around. It would be a very rare occasion for you to find me talking seriously to people. I’m not saying that I cannot be serious; I just prefer to make people laugh because that in turn makes me laugh.

Overall, laughter brings your body back to normal, a natural homeostasis routine! Some examples of the physical benefits of laughter include relaxing your muscles, preventing heart disease, and increase your immunity. The mental benefits include, but are not limited to, helping raise your level of happiness and relieving stress you may be experiencing. Some social benefits laughter has include stronger relationships. Laughter can be created in my life through taking my spare time and finding funny videos or watch comical shows/movies more often. I use laughter to better relate to people and often find myself in giggle fits when talking to people close to me.

  46. Laughter can cure and prevent more things than what people even know. It strengthens your immune system, relaxes you, decreases pain, relieves stress, and even decreases anxiety. By laughing together, people can relate to each other. It will always lighten the mood and make people realize that life can never be taken too seriously. I generally am a happy person and rely on laughter to get me through the day. I love making other people laugh, even if it is at my own expense. Once people come to the realization that nothing can ever be taken too seriously (or at least too stressful), then everyone will be happier and healthier.

  47. Laughter is definitely good for your health. It allows you to cope and helps relieve stress. Some health benefits of laughter include: a strengthened immune system, lower stress levels, and lower levels of anxiety or fear. Physical benefits include the relation of muscle and a reduction in the likelihood of a heart attack. Personally, I let a lot get to me. I can laugh more by just brushing if off and remembering all the benefits that laughter has. I have a great life and great people to share laughs with and I always, always need to remember that. Plus, there are always plenty of YouTube videos to watch!
